And now, for your viewing pleasure... Mommy presents PATRICK!!!!!

I'm a grown up and mommy hasn't posted in forever. She's sorry.

Okay I'm not really a grown up. But I am a preschooler. I started yesterday. I'm such a big kid now. I talk in full on sentences, bossing my parents around, yelling at everyone, especailly when I don't get my own way, and pretty soon, mommy says, she's going to put me in a big kids bed. She keeps talking about Monday. I'm not sure why.

Pics are coming soon, she promises. Right now she's at work and there aren't a lot of pics up, but if you have her as a facebook friend, you've probably seen them on there.

Last week we bought my halloween costume from Costco. I was going to be a giraffe. It didn't fit. The hood wouldn't fit over my head. I'm sad now. I really wanted to be a giraffe, but apparently mommy says I'm to tall to be one. That doesn't make sense to me, but not a whole lot does.

I met Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber from Veggie Tales a few weeks ago. I love Bob and Larry. I sing there song all the time. I couldn't stop hugging them. It's so neat to meet my heroes.

Mom is really slow

I keep telling her to hurry up and post before I'm all grown up.

Well actually it's more just "hurry up mommy, come on mommy, hurry up." I don't like to miss my T.V. shows at all, so I am always dragging mommy around, but she says she's dragging me around. Silly mommy.

I am not sure what we told you last time, so here's a very quick update.

I know all my letters and I can count up to 14. I love coloring and music, especially when it comes to playing my electric guitar.

But most of all, I love to type. Did you know that a keyboard has all the letters on it? It does. It's really neat and it makes a very cool clicking sound. I love to look for the letters on the keyboard. I don't know why mommys keyboard is different than the ones on the computer Auntie Gail got me for christmas though. Those letters are all in order. The ones on mommy's computer keyboard don't make any sort of sense at all. It's not even as if they spell anything special.

I love to associate animals with the sounds that they make and I love to tell mommy what letter they start with. I know that Patrick starts with a P. So does Papa and our dog Prince, but Dog starts with a D. We were talking about all the animals on our way home yesterday. I know that Horse starts with H, but mommy and I disagree when it comes to Kat and Kow. She says they start with C's. I know what sound K makes. They start with a K. Silly mommy.

I'm 2 years, 1 month and 2 days old

And I'm really really really sorry that I haven't been able to update this blog in over a month. Mommy has been so busy. So have I.

I had a GREAT birthday. Lots of present, lots of cake (which by the way is my new favorite word), and lots of people.

I learned a new song. Old McDonald. I love doing the animal noises. Especially Moo and Neigh. Mommy says I do them better than she can.

Mommy is working on potty training with me, and although it's hard, I'm beginning to get it a little bit. Mostly though I think it's much more fun to make fart noises with my mouth.

I know most of my letters and numbers now. Now it's just a matter of time before I start getting them in the right order. It's hard to remember all 26 letters and which order they go in. Mommy says I'll get it in the next few months. She's pretty sure of that.

I have a birthday party to go to this weekend for my friend Austin from School. He's three and he's soooo cool. He loves Mickey Mouse and Pirates and we play all the time at school. I learned how to say Ahoy Matey and Periscope from him. He's a little bit bossy but he's still one of the coolest guys I know.

I'm also learning a lot about sharing at school, and as long as Kurtis doesn't try to take my toys from me, I'm willing to share them, but he has to ask me "please" first.

Three days a week I spend with my Papa. He and I are becoming very good friends and we love to go on walks together with our dog "Prince" (although secretly mommy calls him El Dum Dum Dog). The other day Papa and I found a pinecone. I love to smell my pinecone and to play with it, although my mommy won't let me take it to bed, which I don't like.

But overall, life is pretty good for being two. I'm learning more every day and I promise, I'll try to get my mommy on the computer more often, to actually talk about me.

I make mommy laugh

Last night her new camera finally arrived. She was so excited to be able to take good pictures of me growing up (maybe now she'll get some new ones on this blog). So I took her old camera that doesn't work anymore and told her to "Cheese Mommy". She knew what that meant. I took lots of pictures of her on that camera. It's too bad that it doesn't really work. She won't let me play with her new one. She's too afraid I'll break that. Maybe one day I'll be a professional photographer.

Playschool

Thats what mommy calls it anyways. It's really more of a daycare with lots of playing and preschool activities. It's a lot of fun. I've been going for two whole weeks now on a regular basis. I've made two really good friends there. Curtis and Sawyer. Curtis is three months younger and Sawyer is one month and a day older. We have a lot of fun chasing eachother around the yard and chasing the dogs. I draw almost every day and I gave up eating the crayons. My teacher Miss Laura says she wants to take us outside but it's been so cold lately that that's hard to do when the ground isn't drying off.

I'm 23 months

Mommy's heart is breaking cause I'm growing up. She says she loves me so much but she wants me to stop growing up so fast. She keeps telling me that it seems like just yesterday that I was born. I keep trying to tell her that it wasn't. I've been talking up a storm lately. I know all of my colors and a lot of my numbers and letters. My favorite show in the entire world is Sesame Street. I especially love Elmo and Ernie but Cookie Monster and AbbyCaddaby are close seconds.

I love to sing and I sing a lot. My two favorite songs are Sing a Song (from Sesame Street) and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, but those are sometimes boring because there are no motions to them like Itsy Bitsy Spider. I suprised my mommy when I showed her I knew how to do that. She was very proud of me, but there isn't much that doesn't make my mom proud of me. To her, I am her entire world.
