Welcome to our World

Wow, what a journey. On April 29, 2006 my mom found out she was pregnant with me. She didn't beleive it at first. She took three home pregnancy tests and called my dad. He was visiting my Papa Rick in Nevada. She wouldn't tell him what was up over the phone, but she told him that she really needed to talk to him. He knew she was either pregnant or wanted a divorce. Good thing she didn't want that divorce.
I made my mom so sick every morning for the first trimester and for a lot of the third trimester, but at least she knew I was strong.
January 1, 2007 I announced that it was time for me to come. I was so tired of being stuck inside all the time and I made it very clear to mom that I was coming ready or not. So off my parents went to the hospital. Mom pushed for three hours to no avail. I tried coming out but mom's body wasn't having it. Finally the doctor decided that since my heartbeat was flailing she'd better do a c-section, so at 3:07 a.m. on January 2, 2007, I made my way into this great big world. My mom and dad fell in love with me immediately. Everyone announced that I was adorable and perfect. My parents confirmed that my name was to be Patrick (up until this point, they weren't positive on anything, other than the fact that I was a boy) and decided that Ryan would be a good middle name. So Patrick Ryan I became. I was 20 3/4 inches long and 6 lbs 10 oz.
So now I'm going to be 11 weeks old tomorrow and mom and dad, as much as they love me now, wish I was still just as little. I'm a lot longer now. Almost two inches longer and about three and a half to four pounds heavier. I'm holding my head up and smiling. I talk constantly and I love to kick. Aunt Andrea is hoping I'll be a soccer player. She's already said that she'll be coaching my team later on if I decided to play.
I've got two big brothers who love me sooo much and a nana, a papa, a grandpapa, a Papa Rick, a grandma, a granny, a gram and more aunts and uncles than I can count. They all love me though. Everyone loves me.
Oh and in case you haven't guessed, my mom is typing this. I'm not too good at the keyboard yet. I will be though. I'll be good at a lot of things. Right now I'm just good at smiling and making mommy and daddy laugh at me.
Well thats it for right now, but I'll be back later to post more and let you all know what I'm up too. I'll see you later.
